~My Holiday Diary~
Christmas Recipe of the Week: Sweet Potato Casserole
Christmas Idea of the Week: Take the time to get things done a few weeks earlier than you normally do; shop for some gifts, buy Christmas decorations, get a list going of who you're going to send cards to, and jot down the recipes you want to use. This is going to save you a ton of time and stress by the time December rolls around!
Christmas Link of the Week: Christmas Gift & Craft Projects
I've revamped this journal a little, making it more pleasing and festive to look at. I'm already getting in that holiday spirit, seeing the commercials everywhere, seeing all the gift items and homeware and extensive decorations/ornaments at Walmart, and seeing the Christmas sales start at some of my favorite mall stores. Of course, that's merely the material aspect of it all, but I can't help that it still gets me excited and feeling like a kid again. I bought the Celtic Woman CD, and I've already tried it out and the Christmas music on it is so beautiful *passes out*
I got another gift taken care of, and before November 30th I plan to have four more done. That will leave Mom, Dad, Trevor, the cat, Stephanie and Catherine if they want to exchange gifts again this year, and whoever my family swappee is going to be. For the other family members, I'm going to bake really nice things for them, so I really need to stop procrastinating and start collecting the recipes I want to use. NO STRESS THIS YEAR, DURNIT.
As of tomorrow, there's only two weeks until Thanksgiving!!! And the day after is when we decorate for Christmas!!! O__O
I'm going to ask in my normal LJ and possibly at Arena if any of my friends want to exchange cards again...that was fun last year :D
